Laverstock and Ford Sports Club

16.10.25:  Sadly we are moving from the Sports Club as several people have found the smaller dance space and the floor a problem and it is no longer viable.  We have two more Tuesdays 21st October and 28th October 2025 at this venue. The staff have been very welcoming to us and some have really enjoyed the atmosphere there.

We have been given the opportunity to dance at Laverstock Village Hall instead on a Friday evening and this will commence on Friday 14th November 2025.

We used to meet at West Grimstead Village Hall on Tuesday evenings, but  then moved to Harnham Hall in November 2024,  which unfortunately gave us unexpected parking issues and we often did not have uninterrupted use of the hall. We have now decided with effect from February 2025 to use Laverstock and Ford Sports Club which has a private room at the back.  At the moment, the first part of the evening 7.00 to 7.30 is used for newcomers to gradually walk through dances.  More experienced dancers join at 7.30 pm and dance with us.  Then from 8.00 to 9.00 we dance high improver and intermediate dances.  Something for everyone.

The main floor is smaller than our usual halls, but we have overflow dancing on the balconies - see photo below ...
